Barrel Thief was founded by two life-long best friends Ross and Ned (see Our Story). But a staff of two is just not enough. So, they went out and found some great people to help out. And here they are....

Ledy is a lover of animals and cooking. Her dog's name is Trinity, and if Trinity was allowed to hang out here at the shop, you would most likely see her dog curled up in the lounge. In addition to cooking and creating various dishes, a skill she developed in culinary school, she also loves to paint and create artwork in all forms. Ledy joined the Barrel Thief team back in January after selling her own restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA.

FRENCH WINE BUYER STILL AT LARGE
ALthough Ben no longer lingers here at Barrel Thief having moved to Los Angeles, his presence can still be felt. The strong French selection is thanks to the help of Mr. Andersen. We certainly wish him the best out west and hope to see him visit the shop next time his travels take him through Richmond.

A senior at the College of William and Mary, Jason Durso has modified his semesters to include an exploratory dive into wine. Using Barrel Thief as his primary means of acquiring wine knowledge, the wealth of information available from both customers and staff has helped tremendously to expand an appreciation for finding the veritas of vino.
