Everyone seemed to really enjoy the music of Ben Phan a few weeks ago, so we are bringing him back for another evening of live music Wednesday from 7pm-9pm at BT Short Pump. It just doesn't get an better than some good music and a great glass of wine. |

FREE DESSERT NIGHT

Many of you already know that we have a fun dessert menu complete with dessert wines by-the-glass, but not everyone. We want that to change. So we are giving away desserts on Thursday night at both locations. If you haven't tried a dessert from Barrel Thief yet, Thursday is your night. All you have to do is spend $25 in the cafe and then order up your FREE dessert! Enjoy! |

FLIGHT NIGHT w. ROSS (SOAVE)

This week's flight night focuses on a rising category at Barrel Thief: Soave.As the weather warms up, we keep having repeat customers for this crisp white wine from the Veneto. We have featured a few producers of Soave since we opened and all have been well received. Now it is time for those wines to have a showdown to see which wine reigns supreme. All participants in Flight Night are encouraged to rate the wines best to worst to help us determine which Soave we will pour by the glass for the next few weeks. |

FLIGHT NIGHT w. David Jones

Is Grotta del Sole the official winery of Spring? This very promising property in Campania, Italy is going to plead its case at Flight Night this Wednesday from 5-8pm in Short Pump. Join our guest David Jones of Michael Downey Selections (Vietti, Crivelli, La Slina) as he pours four of the most exciting wines from this estate for $16. The flight will consist of one white and three reds, including the much loved Gragnano (sparkling red). |

LIVE MUSIC OF PRESENTENSE

Barrel Thief is excited to offer a new music group, Presentense, coming all the way from Maine! The group will play Friday night at BT Short Pump and Saturday night at BT Patterson.
Presentense is an acoustic duo with a wide sound palette. It features Paul on guitar, harmonica, and vocals and Jennie on lead vocals, mandolin, and djembe. With a big vocal range, tight harmonies, and some smokin' leads, they play many original and cover tunes influenced by all genres of music including gyspy jazz, blues, pop, bluegrass, and french. |

BIGGEST TASTING EVER #4

Yes, "BTE4" is back in Short Pump. Taste 30 wines from around the world in a trade tasting format of 6 tables featuring 5 wines each. All wine will be available for special order with huge case discounts.
Tickets are $25/person and are on sale now. We will also be serving complimentary white bean dip and artichoke/leek dip until 7pm. Regular dinner service will be available after the tasting with reservations highly recommended. Tables will be available starting after the tasting ends.

RARITIES FOR CHARITIES FLIGHT NIGHT

Please join us (Barrel Thief and Mr. Honey-Do, James Roberson) as we taste some terrific wines and share good conversation while raising money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society!
Mr. Honey-Do will be on hand at the Short Pump location of Barrel Thief to answer questions about the fundraising efforts for the MS Society as well as to give away several Mr. Honey-Do GIFT CARDS!! Headed to the Patterson location? Don't worry. BT Patterson will have all the info as well as Mr. Honey-Do GIFT CARDS to be given away!
The event is $30/person (4 half-pours and light appetizers) with 50% going to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Bring friends & family! Regular dinner and wine service is available as well. |
